Wrapping Things Up
I have been swamped with work and the court case from the shooting that happened at my home last winter, this week, so my two next stories will release on Tuesday, October 29th, instead of the 25th.
Life comes first.
Lowella will be out tomorrow as intended, seeing as the article issue I ran into has been dealt with by forgoing the article format altogether in favor of transferring the newspapers over to flavor text. It’s the weirdest story I’ve ever written, and is highly experimental in its execution, though I hope it lands and has the intended effect.
But Numinous needs one final touch to meet my standards. I don’t enjoy releasing things unless I’m happy with them. Numinous is the next sister story to Auminous, and it needs to have equal flavor and identity. I love Auminous so much, so the sequel needs to meet it. This story bridges the gap between Auminous and Criminous.
Each story is like a child to me, so they need the love they deserve.
I’m proud of the story, but it needs some formatting touch-ups and one last comb. A delayed story can be good, but a rushed story is bad forever.
It is impossible to edit a bad experience.
I'd rather wait a bit longer and clean up the prose some more, anyway.
Bundling these two stories doesn't look right after trying it, so they'll be separate.
The sequel to Lowella, Lowella Re: Wind, will release in Q1 2025.
For the rest of 2025, I will put most efforts into the Orchestrylus Odyssey. I will still write two standalone novels in addition to those. I’m also exploring original artists for my anchor series, as my ability to do manga panels pales compared to the wonderful artists out there. And AI is a no-go.
I’ve got hundreds of story ideas waiting to get out there, and I can’t wait to put them to the page.
Next month, The Last Key of Maestraumus releases, a light novel that’s not so light in length, bringing Stanzielle’s story up to the present and starting the story proper.
I hope everyone is living their best life, taking each day as it comes.
Stay blessed!
